Using from mobile phones

TimeMachine can be used through a Internet browser present in most of the existing smart mobile phones (smartphones). See list of compatible devices. To use it, you must indicate in your Internet browser that you want to go to a specific page location (URL). You have to enter the following URL address http://www.tmachine.net . After that the mobile Internet browser will connect to the Internet and will look for the TimeMachine site. After finding it the browser will display all the contents and options of TimeMachine in an adecquate form compatible to the mobile phone that you are using. In that moment you can browse the contents, enter your account, upload files and organize them among other functonalities.

In general all mobile connections or access points defined for mobile Internet are compatible with TimeMachine. But in certain specific functionalities of TimeMachine, we have found that specific access points to mobile Internet of some mobile operators companies do not work fully with our service. It looks like that when the mobile operators have gateways that try to be compatible with the old WAP standard 1.2, blocks certain communications between the mobile phone and TimeMachine. So it is required that the access point to mobile Internet must not have this gateway in the middle, in other words the mobile browser must connect directly to the mobile Internet. Therefore, you must select a specific type of access point for each mobile operator company to be fully compatible to TimeMachine. Depending of your mobile phone service operator, you must assign in your mobile Internet browser the compatible access point with TimeMachine. After accessing TimeMachine from your mobile phone for the first time, we suggest you to store it as a Bookmark. Next time you only need to go to Bookmarks to go to TimeMachine.

The access to TimeMachine is free, unless explicitly indicated that a specific content has a cost. The only costs that exists are the ones your mobile telephone operator charges for the data transmission. This costs are different from country to country, company to company and depend of the plans or prepaid packages. Generally they are charged by Kilobytes of transmission both uploads and downloads. The typical approximate cost is between 0,1 cents of a USD to 1 cent of a USD. Some mobile phone operator companies offer plans of unlimited monthly data transmission for a fixed price, both under postpaid plans or prepaid plans.
