What kinds of files can I store in my TimeMachine?

You can store all the information you are able to collect with your Smartphone, such as photos, text files, videos, audio files, text documents, spreadsheets, among others, into a specialized Server in the Internet.

How can I store my files in TimeMachine Server?

You can store your files by using the mobile wireless network or through the TimeMachine Access Point (TAP) based on Bluetooth, which sends the information to the TimeMachine Server.

What is a TAP?

The TAP is a special Bluetooth Access Point developed by Blue2Net AB (http://www.blue2net.com ). It allows data transmission from Smartphone to the TimeMachine Server via Bluetooth and Internet.

Is any Bluetooth Access Point able to upload my data?

TimeMachine works with a special kind of Bluetooth Access Point develop from Blue2Net AB, which can be installed in your home or in your office.

Where can I find a TimeMachine Access Point (TAP)?

TAPs will be acquired at the moment you buy your TimeMachine, as a complete package ready to use. You can buy it directly to Blue2Net, Paradigma Ltda. or local distributors.

Do I need technical support to install my TAP?

TAPs are very easy to configure and install. You will not need technical support to do it.

What happens if I am not near a TAP?

You can use the mobile wireless network or save your files in your mobile untill you reach a TAP (installed at your home, office or other places).

What is the files transmission speed when I send files from Smartphone to the Server?

When using a TAP you can reach up to 722 kbps in Bluetooth 1.0 or up to 2.1 mbps with Bluetooth 2.0. The speed of a mobile wireless network depends on the quality of your local operator´s network, but can vary from 42 kbps to 1mbps or more.

What is the maximum range covered by the TAP?

The TAP works in a range of 10 to 60 meters, depending on which Class Bluetooth radio is implemented in your Smartphone.

Can I edit or move files directly from my Smartphone?

TimeMachine Smartphone interface was designed to upload or erase your files directly from your Smartphone, without needing a PC. But, if you want to edit texts or images you need external tools in your Smartphone or PC

What happens if I have my Smartphone or my PC stolen?

If you loose your mobile phone, you will lose only the data that was not uploaded recently, in the case of your PC, there are not problems with the lost of information because all the your data will be store in the Time Machine Server in order to avoid any information loss.

Do I need to register after I buy a TimeMachine?

Once you have bought a TimeMachine package, you must register by following the instructions indicated in the user manual.
